Mississauga Transit was inaugurated in 1969 under contract to Charterways in the south & Georgetown Transportation Company in the Malton Area. With just seven buses and three routes MT has grown over the years. Orion1s, Flyers, GMs, GM artics, Flyer artics, Orion Vs, as well as low floor newFlyer Artics & Orion VIIs are seen in service.1999 MT celebrated its 25th anniversary.
