<p>The N S &amp; T had Steamships, passenger &amp; freight operations local &amp; interurban street cars, buses &amp; even an amusement park making it one of the most diversified systems in Canada. (Narrated by Ray Neilson, Comments by John Mills, Jack Knowles, Al Kerr, Bill Hood (60 min)   For the 2010 edition of this video, the majority of the film shown was replaced with newly captured footage from John Mill's original film. The new version is digitally re-mastered, and only contains the orginal audio track from the original master tape.  Original Production work by Ray Neilson. From 1897 to 1956 the M&SC Ry. served the Montreal south shore. This 47-mile line linked Granby in the east to the McGill Street Terminal in the city of Montreal. Tony Clegg (Author), John Freyseng, and John Mills narrate. Art Ellis, John Mills, Ray Muller, Fred Angus, and John Freyseng’s movies provide a visual record of Quebec’s premiere electric railway.

This video was revised in 2011, with new artwork and restored film.

The Grand River Railway& the Lake Erie & Northern Railway were amongst the first  interurban lines in Canada. Both were operated by the Canadian Pacific Railway & served the Waterloo/Kitchener area to Pt.Dover/Simcoe for over 70 years along the Grand River  The London & Pt. Stanley Ry was part of a proposed Ontario Hydro-Electric Railway network that never materialized. 16 mm film from Foster Palmer; 8mm film from John Mills;John  Kelly, John Roberts & Al Kerr show these lines in their final years.
