The Grand River Railway and the "Lake Erie & Northern Railway" were amongst the first interurban lines in Canada. Both were operated by the Canadian Pacific Railway & served the Waterloo/Kitchener area to Pt.Dover/Simcoe for over 70 years along the Grand River. The London & Pt. Stanley Ry was part of a proposed Ontario Hydro-Electric Railway network that never materialized.
